The game kicks off with a setup that's as intriguing as it is strategic. You'll see eighteen cards laid out face-down to form three pyramids, each boasting three tiers that overlap. Sitting atop these pyramids are ten cards, face-up and ready for action. The remaining twenty-four cards form your stock, with the top card flipped over to start your waste pile. From here, the game gets thrilling: you can move a card from the tableau to the waste pile if it's either one rank higher or lower, regardless of suit. So, you might see sequences like 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8 unfolding. As you clear cards, any face-down cards that become unobstructed are flipped over, revealing new possibilities and keeping the game dynamic and engaging.
