This software, Cross Stitch Pattern Creator, empowers you to craft personalized cross-stitch designs. Four sample patterns are included in the free download; activation costs $2.99. A tablet is recommended due to the size of the patterns.

Creating your masterpiece is simple: Click "Create a Cross Stitch Pattern" to launch the editor. Fill the grid squares with DMC floss colors—you can even add your own custom shades.

Intuitive tools are at your fingertips: use the pencil to color squares, the eraser to remove them. Choose from over 80 stamps and borders to enhance your design.

The toolbar offers a range of functions:

• DMC Floss Color: Select your thread color.
• Save: Preserve your progress.
• Pencil/Eraser: Basic drawing and correction tools.
• Backstitch: Add backstitching, reposition it, or adjust individual stitch ends.
• Stamps/Borders: Add pre-designed elements.
• Dropper/Bucket/Bucket+: Color selection and fill tools (Bucket+ replaces existing colors).
• Undo/Redo: Essential for error correction.
• Selection Box: Select areas for cutting, copying, rotating, or flipping.
• Cut/Copy/Paste: Standard editing functions.
• Rotate/Flip: Adjust orientation.
• Zoom: Magnify or reduce the view.
• Symbols: View color-coded symbols.
• Picture: Import images to convert into patterns.
• Social Media: Share your creations.
• Resize Bars: Adjust pattern dimensions.
• Option Settings: Customize grid color, fill style (solid or X's), and row/column counters.
• Instruction/Finished Product Pages: Preview DMC color usage, finished sizes for different Aida cloths, and a rendering of the completed cross-stitch. You can even adjust the fabric color in the preview.
