Before Starting Your Sensor

Before you activate your Sensor, decide which device you will use for monitoring. Alarms and glucose readings are exclusive to either your smartphone or your FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader; they cannot be received on both simultaneously. To receive notifications on your phone, start the Sensor using the FreeStyle Libre 2 app. For the Reader, start the Sensor with the Reader itself.

It's important to note that the FreeStyle Libre 2 app and Reader do not share data with each other. To ensure complete data collection on a specific device, you must scan your Sensor with that device every 8 hours. Otherwise, your reports may lack some data. You can upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
