MAME4droid, developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco), is a port of the renowned MAME 0.139 emulator originally created by Nicola Salmoria and the MAME team. This emulator brings the classic arcade experience to your Android device, supporting over 8000 different ROMs from the MAME 0.139u1 version. It's important to note that MAME4droid is strictly an emulator and does not include any ROMs or copyrighted material.

Designed for dual-core Android devices, MAME4droid leverages the capabilities of high-end smartphones and tablets to emulate arcade games. However, users should be aware that even with powerful hardware, not all games, especially those from the 90s and later, will run at full speed or with complete compatibility. Games like Outrun and the Mortal Kombat series, for instance, may require at least a 1.5GHz dual-core device to perform adequately.
