HOW TO PLAY

Ludo is a classic dice and race game where each player controls four pieces per house using a set of dice. Naija Ludo currently supports two players, each managing two houses with a total of eight pieces. The objective is to move all eight pieces to the home before your opponent does.

MOVEMENT OF PIECE

The game begins with the player who has the red house. In the case of a win, the loser starts the next game with the red house. A piece can only exit the house when a die shows a 6, but once on the track, it can move with any dice outcome. Pieces navigate a 56-step track from home to the center of the board. A piece can be removed either by completing the 56 steps or by capturing an opponent's piece.

PIECE CAPTURE

A player's piece can capture an opponent's piece by landing on a block occupied by the opponent's piece. The captured piece is then returned to its home, while the capturing piece may be removed from the board. The key strategy is to capture as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while avoiding being captured yourself. However, a piece cannot capture if the remaining dice outcome cannot be used.

IMPORTANT NOTE

1. A player can roll the dice consecutively only if each roll results in a 6.

2. The outcome of a dice roll must be played before rolling again, regardless of the result.

3. For a faster and smoother gameplay experience, go to settings and enable DIRECT COUNT.
