Cyberpunk 2077 Fortnite crossover: Why no male V? Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 content, and the resulting collaboration proved popular. However, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked fan speculation.

The mystery was solved by Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077 loremaster and decision-maker for the Fortnite crossover. Mills explained the omission was due to two factors: the bundle's two-character limit, and the inclusion of Johnny Silverhand. With Silverhand already a male character, selecting the female V was deemed the most practical solution, also reflecting Mills' personal preference.
