Kabam is set to enhance Marvel Contest of Champions with exciting updates, including the launch of the Dark Phoenix Saga, the introduction of new Champions, and the debut of a new character type called Eidols. This month also focuses on celebrating the powerful women of the game, allowing players to influence the upcoming Champion rework for 2025.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the latest Champions to join The Contest, each bringing unique abilities and contributing to a new storyline. You can recruit Jean Grey starting March 13th, with Bastion following on March 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, featuring Jean Grey and the X-Men battling dangerous variants in a fresh quest.

The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions expands further with the introduction of more Eidols, continuing the Founders storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, Lumatrix, the next Eidol, will be introduced on March 5th and remain available until June 4th.

Lumatrix, designed by The Founders, serves as a master infiltrator with capabilities in spying, sabotage, and assassination. Made of ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix can manipulate light with precision, presenting itself as a dazzling performer while secretly being a ruthless weapon.

To celebrate the powerful women of The Contest, Kabam has teamed up with seven female developers and content creators, each representing a different Champion. Players can participate in Solo Objectives and Realm Events to decide which Champion will be reworked in 2025.
