The Delta Force PC Alpha Test kicked off on August 5 at 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT, providing eager fans with an early taste of the action. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would conclude on September 8, or more specifically, on September 7 at 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for players in the United States.

Gamers had several exciting ways to secure their spot in the Alpha Test:

• Delta Force Official Steam Page: Another avenue for fans to request access.
• Delta Force Twitch Streams: By watching streams, players could receive Twitch Drops for a chance to join the test.

July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced

On July 24, Delta Force officially announced that the delayed Alpha Test would begin on August 6, 2024. Enthusiasts could still try their luck through various methods such as the official website, the Steam page, or by snagging keys via Twitch drops or special giveaways. For instance, a giveaway on their Twitter/X account saw 100 lucky winners receive codes to join the Alpha test.

July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed

During the pre-alpha test, which ran from July 11 to 15, the developers identified critical errors that affected gameplay for the limited group of participants. As a result, they made the tough decision to postpone the July Alpha test to focus on resolving these issues, ensuring the best possible experience for players.

Initially Scheduled Alpha Test

Originally, the Delta Force Alpha Test was slated for July 18, with no specified end date. Fans had multiple opportunities to gain access, including filling out player surveys on the official website, requesting access via the Steam page, or watching Twitch streams for a chance to receive Steam keys as Twitch Drops.

The pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 served as a crucial stress test, allowing a small subset of players early access. By engaging with all available methods, some players might have secured this early-early access.
