Game Launches On May 20th

Mark your calendars for May 20th, 2025, when Dune: Awakening will be available on PC via Steam. Console players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S can look forward to a release later, though an exact date hasn't been set yet. In the lead-up to the launch, developer Funcom has made the Character Creator and Benchmark Mode available. This lets you not only start building your character for Arrakis but also check if your PC can handle the game's demands.

With the Character Creator, you get to tailor every detail of your avatar, from appearance to choosing your home planet, caste, and mentor or class. These customizations will carry over to the full game when it launches. Priced at USD 49.99, the game will soon be available for pre-order on Steam. Pre-orders include an in-base decoration, the Terrarium of Muad'Dib, featuring the beloved desert kangaroo mouse from the series.
