Get ready for airborne battles, underwater skirmishes, and land-based assaults alongside a squad of powerful female characters! The long-awaited pre-registration for the Japanese server of ETE Chronicle:Re is officially live.

For those unfamiliar, the original ETE Chronicle launched in Japan but received mixed reviews due to its unexpected turn-based gameplay, a departure from the anticipated mecha action. However, the developers listened, significantly overhauling the game for its Chinese release, transforming it into a true action title. This revamped version, ETE Chronicle:Re, replaces the original Japanese version, with player purchases from the original game carrying over.

A World in Chaos: The Story

ETE Chronicle:Re plunges you into a post-apocalyptic future where humanity struggles for survival. The Yggdrasil Corporation, wielding advanced technology derived from extraterrestrial remnants, created the Galar tactical exoskeleton and established the Tenkyu orbital base, turning Earth into a warzone.

Humanity's last hope lies with the Humanity Alliance and their secret weapon: female pilots controlling the E.T.E. combat machines. As an enforcer, you'll lead these pilots into battle, impacting both the outcome of fights and the characters' destinies.

Fast-Paced Action: The Gameplay

Commanding a team of four characters, you'll need quick thinking and even faster reflexes. ETE Chronicle:Re features a semi-real-time battle system demanding constant strategic adaptation amidst enemy fire.

Concerns remain among some players wary of the reboot after their experiences with the original. Criticisms included repetitive gameplay loops, fixed enemy distances preventing flanking maneuvers, and simultaneous party movement lacking individual character control. Whether ETE Chronicle:Re addresses these issues remains to be seen.
