The much-anticipated Godzilla skin is set to make its debut in Fortnite on January 17, and the excitement is palpable as details of the collaboration with Monsterverse have surfaced online. Epic Games has already rolled out an update that will unlock on the same day, and thanks to diligent dataminers, we now have a clearer picture of what's in store. Alongside the standard Godzilla skin available through the battle pass, players can look forward to acquiring Mechagodzilla and Kong skins from the in-game store. These will come bundled with unique jet packs and custom pickaxes, adding a thrilling twist to your Fortnite experience.
On January 17, Fortnite will also introduce a new boss event that promises to be a game-changer. One lucky player on the map will transform into an oversized Godzilla, wielding its iconic atomic breath ability. The challenge for other players will be to team up and take down this colossal beast. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla throughout the battle will be rewarded with a special medallion that grants a unique ability, adding an extra layer of strategy and competition to the game.

Fortnite is no stranger to hosting a variety of performers and artists, and it seems that the beloved Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku, might soon join the fray. Social media interactions have sparked speculation, particularly after the Hatsune Miku account mentioned a missing backpack, to which the Fortnite Festival account responded affirmatively. In addition to the standard Vocaloid skin, players can expect a stylized pickaxe, a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant, and a virtual Hatsune Miku concert, promising an immersive and entertaining experience for fans.
