Free Fire's Winterlands Festival Returns with Aurora!

Free Fire's Winterlands festival is back, bringing a dazzling Aurora display and a host of exciting new features. This year's update includes the introduction of Koda, a new character with unique abilities, Frosty Tracks for speedy traversal, and an Aurora Forecast system impacting gameplay.

Meet Koda: The Arctic Mastermind

Koda, hailing from a technologically advanced arctic region, possesses the signature ability "Aurora Vision." This allows for increased movement speed and enhanced enemy detection, even through obstacles. Parachuting with Koda offers a preemptive view of nearby opponents. His backstory involves a mystical fox mask discovered under an aurora, forging a bond with snow foxes and shaping his battlefield prowess.

Aurora-Infused Gameplay

The Aurora theme permeates the Winterlands event. Bermuda's skies are adorned with auroras, and a dynamic Aurora Forecast system introduces gameplay-altering buffs based on the predicted aurora activity.

Frosty Tracks, icy pathways perfect for skating, have been added to Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. These tracks wind through iconic locations like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory in Bermuda, allowing players to maintain mobility while engaging in combat. Special Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF Coins. Clash Squad players will find similar frosty highways in areas such as Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar.

Random Aurora Events and Friend Challenges

Keep an eye out for aurora-enhanced Coin Machines in Battle Royale and Supply Gadgets in Clash Squad. Interacting with these elements completes event quests and unlocks squad buffs.

Playing with friends adds a unique twist. Friends appear as adorable snowballs on the event interface, and completing friend-specific tasks unlocks rewards like an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
