Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 10: Embers of the World Mini Set Launching Soon

If you're a devoted follower of Hearthstone, Blizzard's hit World of Warcraft-themed card battler, get ready for some exciting updates. Battlegrounds Season 10: Second Nature is set to launch on April 29th, bringing fresh content to keep your gameplay dynamic and thrilling. But that's not all; the new mini set, Embers of the World Tree, will be available starting May 13th, adding even more variety to your matches.

The theme of Embers of the World Tree revolves around the Druids of the Flame launching an attack on this ancient monument. Both the Druids and their adversaries, the Dream Defenders, will receive new Imbue and Dark Gifts. The Druids, in particular, will harness Fire Magic to ignite your opponents!

The highlight of the mini set is the introduction of Smouldering Cards. These unique cards gain strength the longer they stay in your hand, but beware—they'll burn out and vanish if held too long. Strategic timing is key to maximizing their impact on your game.

Enter the Battleground

Moving beyond the mini set, Battlegrounds Season 10: Second Nature promises to shake things up. Trinkets are making a comeback, available as passive power-ups on Turn 6 for lesser trinkets and Turn 9 for greater trinkets. You'll also have the chance to tap into the power of the wilds with two new heroes: Cenarius and Buttons.

The minion pool is expanding significantly, with over 75 new and returning characters and Tavern spells. And for those aiming to complete their collections, the Season 10 Battlegrounds Track offers a plethora of new themed cosmetics.
