Honkai: Star Rail\'s newest expansion arrives the middle of this month, with a new planet and more

Honkai: Star Rail's next major update launches January 15th! Prepare for a thrilling adventure to the enigmatic planet Amphoreus.

This expansive update, spanning chapters 3.0 to 3.7, marks the game's largest content drop yet. The Astral Express, needing to refuel, lands on Amphoreus, a planet shrouded in mystery and a chaotic vortex, making external study impossible. Its inhabitants are largely unaware of the wider universe, promising a unique and challenging experience.

New Faces and Familiar Friends

The update introduces three new playable characters: Herta, Aglaea, and the Remembrance Trailblazer. You'll also encounter returning favorites. The limited five-star characters, Lingsha Feixiao and Jade, will be available in the first half, followed by Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf in the second half.

MiHoYo is clearly committed to Honkai: Star Rail's success, following the launch of Zenless Zone Zero last year. This new expansion promises to be a standout addition to their growing roster of popular titles.
