Master the Fountain of Confession Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle! This guide unravels the Vatican's giant mystery, guiding you through each step of this cinematic puzzle.

Solving the Fountain of Confession Puzzle

Following the Sacred Wounds puzzle, Indy uses the scroll from the Giant's tomb to locate the Fountain of Confession. Remember to photograph everything for Adventure Points!

Exit Antonio's office (like at the start of the Sacred Wounds mission) and use your journal's map to find the courtyard stairs leading to the puzzle's starting point.

First, retrieve the fountain key from the chest near the construction area. This unlocks the storage room.

Use your whip to rappel to the rooftop, then swing to the window overlooking the fountain. You'll see two dragon statues. Swing to the second statue and grab its claw to activate a lever.

Use the lever to rotate the statue, making it face the opposite dragon. Repeat on the other statue, noting its missing claw.

The missing claw is on the scaffolding below. Rappelling down triggers a cutscene with Gina Lombardi, who then assists. Retrieve the claw.

Replace the claw, rotate the statue to face its counterpart, and the fountain statue will turn, revealing a gate blocked by three statues.

Use your whip to pull the fountain statue, revealing a lever. Indy and Gina activate it, unveiling the first wall puzzle (a baptism scene).

Solve the first puzzle by positioning the male statue under the water bucket, activating the water mechanism, and then pushing it to “baptize” the smaller statue. This moves a gate statue.

Reactivate the lever for the second puzzle, involving moving stone layers to guide an angel figure across the wall. Use the handles to adjust the path. Moving the angel to the right completes this part.

Finally, push the remaining central statue through the gate to activate a spiral stairway, leading to the next part of the game.

Congratulations! You've conquered the Fountain of Confession Puzzle!
