Kingambit Joins Pokémon Go in Crown Clash Event Next Month

As you prepare for the Sweet Discoveries event, Pokémon Go is gearing up for the regal Crown Clash event, scheduled from May 10th to 18th. This event promises a royal experience, allowing you to evolve the powerful Kingambit, adorn your Pokémon with crowns, and collect numerous rewards, including bonus XP for evolving your Pokémon.

Kingambit, known as the Big Blade Pokémon, will make its debut during the Crown Clash event. To add Kingambit to your roster, you'll need to evolve Bisharp, but with a special condition: Bisharp must be set as your buddy, and you must defeat 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. Bisharp doesn’t need to participate in the battles; simply having it as your buddy while you rack up those victories will do the trick.

Adding to the excitement, two new costumed Pokémon, Nidoqueen and Nidoking, will debut wearing splendid crowns. You may also encounter their Shiny variants if luck is on your side. These crowned Pokémon will feature prominently in three-star raids, while one-star raids will include Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard.

In the wild, you’ll encounter frequent spawns such as Slowpoke (which could yield a King’s Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also appear more often, offering additional opportunities to catch this Pokémon.
