LEGO has just unveiled its largest Jurassic World set to date: a stunning T-rex skeleton that spans over three feet in length. This impressive set comes complete with minifigures of Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant, iconic characters from the original Jurassic Park film where this skeleton is famously displayed in the visitor center. Priced at $249.99, this set will be available for purchase starting March 12 for LEGO Insiders (sign up for free here) and March 15 for everyone else at the LEGO Store.

This set, designed for adults aged 18+, includes 3,145 pieces and is intended for display rather than play. It features advanced building techniques that might be challenging for younger builders. While photos can't fully convey the scale of this set, the inclusion of Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler minifigures helps provide context. The skeleton's skull is similar to the LEGO T-rex skull set, which is currently available (my son built it and it looks fantastic), but the full skeleton adds a dramatic effect.

While LEGO's Jurassic World collection may not yet match the size of its Star Wars or Harry Potter lines, it's rapidly expanding. As a fan, I'm excited about the prospect of more adult-oriented sets like this T-rex skeleton in future releases.
