Norman Reedus Open to Playing Himself in Death Stranding 2 Movie

Attention all Death Stranding fans! Get ready for an exciting sequel as Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is scheduled to hit the shelves in June. In a recent interview with IGN, the franchise's star, Norman Reedus, shared some intriguing details about the upcoming game and hinted at a future film adaptation. When asked about the possibility of playing himself in the film, which is being developed by Michael Sarnoski and A24, Reedus responded enthusiastically, "If it was an option, yeah, for sure. I don’t know what’s happening with it. It’s so pre pre pre right now. But yeah, of course."

Reedus also discussed his experience with the first game and his anticipation for the sequel. Despite admitting to some initial confusion, he expressed a deep trust in the game's creator, Hideo Kojima. "As far as working with him and understanding where his head’s at, I don’t think anybody can understand where his head’s at," Reedus remarked. "He’s just that guy, he’s out there and he’s got great ideas. But story-wise, I did know what was happening more. There’s more action in it, there’s more of a definite goal to get to."

No matter the twists and turns in the Death Stranding universe, Reedus remains enthusiastic about his involvement. "It’s always a trip working on those things," he shared with IGN. "It’s great, but it’s wild."
