Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The three-day Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will hit three major cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29 - June 1
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6 - June 8
• Paris, France: June 13 - June 15

More specifics about the event will be revealed in March. Remember, event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.

This annual event offers exclusive items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses. In-person attendees enjoy unique city-specific experiences and exclusive merchandise. Expect rare Pokémon encounters (think Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow from 2024!), boosted Shiny rates, habitat-themed activities, community hubs, and team lounges.

Two More Pokémon GO Events in January!

Beyond the Fest, Niantic announced two more exciting events:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) - January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. Rescue Shadow Palkia, encounter debuting Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12km Eggs), and other Shadow Pokémon. Look out for a fashionable Croagunk in snapshots!

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, 50% more Raid XP, and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Lucky trainers can even teach their captured Ho-Oh the Sacred Fire charged move!
