Team NINJA's ambitious action RPG, Rise of the Ronin, has landed on PC a full year after its initial release. Despite receiving performance patches in the months following its launch, there's been no word on any DLC or new content additions.
So, what can PC gamers expect from this port, especially if they've already experienced the game on PlayStation?

Disappointingly, the PC version of Rise of the Ronin does not include any new content beyond what was available in the original PS5 release. The one advantage is the ability to adjust graphics settings to suit your preferences.
However, reports indicate that the game remains unoptimized, mirroring issues seen at its PlayStation launch. Players may need to spend time tweaking settings to achieve a smooth gaming experience.

At Game8, we gave the PlayStation 5 version of Rise of the Ronin an 80/100, praising its stunning visuals, intricate combat system, and robust character creator. Since the PC port offers nothing new, we suggest waiting for a sale if you're keen on experiencing this "samurai with guns" adventure.
Moreover, it seems unlikely that Rise of the Ronin will receive any new content, as neither Team NINJA nor Koei Tecmo have announced plans for DLC since the game's launch.
