SEGA Stars Join Sonic Rumble for Epic Crossover Event!

Sonic Rumble, the highly anticipated mobile game, is making waves even before its global launch on May 8th. Currently in soft launch across over 40 countries, it has introduced an exciting crossover event named Crossover Event #0: SEGA Stars, live now until May 7th. This event bridges the gap between Sonic Rumble's pre-launch phases, which included regions like the Philippines, Scandinavian countries, and Colombia in the first phase, and Canada, Turkey, Malaysia, South Africa, and more in the second phase.

What's in Store?

For players in soft-launch regions, the Sonic Rumble SEGA Stars crossover offers a treasure trove of nostalgic and new content. Fans of the classic Altered Beast can now transform into a Werewolf for free. If you're yearning for more beastly transformations, the Werebear and Weredragon are available too. The Weredragon comes with the Premium Pass, while the Werebear can be purchased with regular rings.

The event also brings in elements from Fantasy Zone, featuring Opa-Opa and Upa-Upa. Opa-Opa is part of the Premium Pass, and Upa-Upa can be obtained through fragments, which are available for 700 standard rings each. Additionally, the beloved characters AiAi and MeeMee from Super Monkey Ball have joined the fray. To get AiAi, you'll need to spend 729 Red Star Rings. Take a look at the crossover event in action:

Earn Exclusive Goodies During the Sonic Rumble SEGA Stars Crossover

During matches, players can collect SEGA logos to earn additional rewards. Though it's unusual to have such an event before the game's official global release, SEGA has assured fans that most of these pre-release rewards will be available again post-launch.

The crossover event showcases the rich tapestry of SEGA's gaming history, bringing together iconic characters like monkeys, sentient arcade ships, and mythical were-creatures, all interacting with Sonic and his friends. This blend of old and new elements highlights the potential of Sonic Rumble and promises an exciting gaming experience.

You can download Sonic Rumble from the Google Play Store now or wait for its global release on May 8th in your region. In the meantime, don't miss out on our coverage of the Vampire Survivors' SaGa-Based DLC Emerald Diorama along with the Cross-Save Update.
