Silent Hill 2 Remake's Wikipedia entry targeted by inaccurate review edits from upset fans.
Following numerous instances of inaccurate review scores being added to the Silent Hill 2 Remake Wikipedia page, administrators locked down the page (currently semi-protected). It appears certain fans, dissatisfied with Bloober Team's remake, altered the page to display artificially low scores from various outlets. The reasons behind this coordinated review bombing remain unclear, although speculation points towards an "anti-woke" agenda. The Wikipedia page has since been corrected and protected from further unauthorized edits.
The Silent Hill 2 Remake recently launched in early access (full release October 8th) and garnered generally positive critical reception. For example, Game8 awarded the game a 92/100 rating, praising its ability to create a powerful emotional response in players.
