DC Studios has unveiled a thrilling new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie, directed by James Gunn and set to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. This three-minute glimpse into the film showcases an impressive lineup of superheroes and supervillains, giving fans an exciting preview of what's to come.

In the trailer, we see Nathan Fillion embodying the role of Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, effortlessly dispatching foes with a casual flick of his hand. Isabela Merced brings Hawkgirl to life, while María Gabriela de Faría offers our most detailed look yet at The Engineer. A pivotal moment reveals The Engineer destroying robots, including Kelex, in Superman's Fortress of Solitude, a scene that was teased in a previous trailer where Superman was seen cradling the damaged Kelex.

Krypto the Superdog also makes a dynamic appearance, launching a flying punch at The Engineer, showing he's more than ready to tackle any threat head-on. The trailer further highlights the action-packed roles of Lex Luthor, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult, and Ultraman. Additionally, we get extended scenes of Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason / Metamorpho. The Hammer of Boravia, a new character introduced by Gunn, believed to be Ultraman in disguise, is prominently featured as promised from the teaser released the day before.

The relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane is central to the narrative, with a scene showing Lois interviewing Clark in his Superman persona. The conversation escalates into a heated debate over Superman's controversial decision to intervene in a foreign war, where he asserts, "I wasn’t representing anyone except for me... and doing good!" This leads to the Hammer of Boravia attacking Downtown Metropolis in retaliation.

Another compelling moment from the trailer shows a civilian aiding Superman out of a hole in the ground during the battle with The Hammer of Boravia. This act of kindness stands in stark contrast to other scenes where the public expresses hostility towards Superman, even throwing objects at him, highlighting the complex relationship between the hero and the people he protects.
