Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Returns After Extended Maintenance!

Remember SAOVS, Bandai Namco's action RPG launched in November 2022? After an unexpectedly long "never-ending maintenance" period that began in September 2023, it's finally back! While initially slated to return this summer (2024), the relaunch took longer than anticipated due to core functionality issues requiring extensive developer attention.

What's New in the Re-released SAOVS?

The game relaunches with several exciting additions:

• Battle Royal Season 1: A new Battle Royale mode has arrived! Four players compete in the arena, vying for the most knockouts. Participate in League Matches to earn Titles and accessories. This season runs until December 30th.

• Returning Player Campaign: Loyal players who endured the maintenance period receive a reward: 5 Sword Spark Mito Pickup Scout Tickets!

• Restart Celebration: A six-campaign event offers up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and mission rewards until January 30th, 2025.

• Limited-Time Opportunities: Players have a chance to acquire the SSR Sword Spark Mito (Light-elemental fighter), along with the new SSR Ability Cards "Destroyer of Destiny" and "Seasoned Comrades," available until January 6th, 2025.
