Botim shares his family's legacy, revealing that he has been entrusted with an ancestral site where an ancient "Terminal" still functions.

He goes on to describe how the towers within Thorncrown Rises have become overrun with shadowy creatures that cause havoc before mysteriously vanishing. Botim offers valuable rewards to those brave enough to tackle this menace, initiating the intriguing Shadow of the Past Quest in Wuthering Waves.

Thorncrown Rises Three Towers Locations In Wuthering Waves

Within Thorncrown Rises, players must locate three distinct towers, each integral to completing the Shadow of the Past Quest, which is divided into three sub-Quests:

• Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Found in the northeastern part of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Situated in the southern part of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Located in the southwestern part of Thorncrown Rises.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise

To embark on the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise sub-Quest, players should head to the northeastern part of Thorncrown Rises and speak with Itzel, who is positioned east of the Tower. Here’s what adventurers need to do inside the Tower:

• Interact with the painting at the hallway's end to enter it.
• Follow the Quest marker to track down the Abyssal Mercator.
• Engage and defeat the Abyssal Mercator, then claim the northern Basic Supply chest.
• Proceed to the western room to secure another Supply chest.
• Head to the eastern room and enter the second painting.
• Confront and defeat the Abyssal Mercator once more.
• Clear out the enemies in both the eastern and western rooms to obtain Supply chests.
• Move north, following the Quest marker to continue pursuing the Abyssal Mercator.
• Defeat the Abyssal Mercator again.
• Touch the painting behind it to follow its path.
• Open the chest at the hallway's end to halt the shooting enemies.
• Battle the blocking enemy in Wuthering Waves.

To successfully complete the sub-Quest, players must arrange the paintings correctly:

• Move the top left painting to the bottom right display.
• Hold the painting behind the top left display and place it on the bottom left display.
• Transfer the top right painting to the top left display.
• Take the painting from behind the bottom right display and position it on the top right display.
• Claim the Premium Supply chest.

Afterward, touch the painting to face the Abyssal Mercator one last time, then speak with Itzel and claim the Tidal Supply chest. Defeating the enemy will weaken one of the barriers at the Command Rise Tower.

Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise

After leaving the previous Tower, adventurers should head southeast to the Twilight Rise Tower and talk to Insula to gain entry. Inside, follow the Quest marker until realizing you're trapped in a loop, at which point Insula will appear:

• Investigate the three marked spots to gather clues.
• Converse with Insula.
• Discover and enter the secret passageway beneath the elevator.
• Defeat the Abyssal Patricius.
• Claim the Supply chest and continue deeper.
• Face the Abyssal Patricius for the final time.
• Speak with Insula again.
• Collect the Tidal Supply chest in Wuthering Waves.

Completing these steps will finish the Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise Quest and weaken the second barrier at the Command Rise Tower.

Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise

Successfully completing the first two parts of the Shadow of the Past Quest automatically triggers the Shadow of the Past: Command Rise Tower sub-Quest in Wuthering Waves. Here's what adventurers must do:

• Travel to the camp northeast of the Command Rise Tower and talk to Insula and Itzel.
• Use the Wingray northwest of the beach to soar towards the Command Rise Tower.
• Enter the Tower and follow the Quest's marker deeper inside.
• Collect the Supply chest west of the moving libraries.
• Utilize the Grapple to ascend.
• Secure the Basic Supply chest between the jars, then defeat the enemies on the opposite side of the balcony to obtain another Supply chest.
• Proceed to the Quest's marker to confront the Abyssal Patricius.
• Claim the chest, then use the Grapple to climb further.

As adventurers ascend, they should thoroughly explore the Command Rise Tower, as it contains numerous Supply chests and two Sonance Caskets: Ragunna.

To reach the tower's summit, use the chandelier's mechanics. Upon arrival, players will find Liel deceased. After speaking with Insula and Itzel, use the portal behind them to reach the Abyssal Patricius's location in Wuthering Waves. Defeat it to claim the Call of the Abyss Rectifier and a Premium Supply chest.

Exiting the Command Rise Tower via the portal and conversing with Insula and Itzel will grant players the King of Thessaleo Achievement and the Shadow of the Tower Achievement in Wuthering Waves.
