In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, armor sets are unique compared to other RPGs. Unlike many games, wearing a full set of armor in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* doesn't provide additional bonuses. Instead, armor sets are often collected from specific locations or defeated enemies, and their names are usually tied to their origin, with exceptions for Twitch drops and pre-order bonuses. If you're interested in using armor sets, here are the best ones available in the game.

The Praguer Guard Armor is ideal not for its stats, but for its utility during the "Reckoning" quest, one of the final main quests where you can find Sam. Wearing this armor allows you to move freely through the camp without being questioned or attacked by guards, making the quest significantly easier. Besides its tactical advantage, it also provides substantial protection with defense stats of 269 stab resistance, 312 slash resistance, and 146 blunt resistance, depending on its quality.
The Cuman Armor is obtained from enemies in the Kuttenberg Region, particularly during the "Bellatores" side quest in Bylany. While not suitable for stealth due to its high noise and conspicuousness, it excels in combat, offering 149 stab resistance, 181 slash resistance, and 65 blunt resistance, making it ideal for quests with unavoidable combat.
Available for purchase from merchants in Kuttenberg City, the Milanese Cuirass Armor provides solid defense against damage with 392 stab resistance, 286 slash resistance, and 100 blunt resistance. Though it's expensive and heavy, it's a worthwhile investment for those looking for robust protection.

The Vavak Soldier Armor can be looted from Vavak's soldiers during the confrontation at the Ruthard's palace, which is part of the quest to find Rosa's book. While the chest piece is less impressive, the other pieces offer significant stab and slash defense, with stats of 352 stab resistance, 264 slash resistance, and 99 blunt resistance. Even if you don't take the full set, grabbing pieces like the head and gloves can be beneficial.
Exclusive to those who pre-ordered the game and completed the "Lion's Crest" side quest, the Brunswick Armor set is exceptional for its early availability. It offers impressive protection with 704 stab resistance, 567 slash resistance, and 239 blunt resistance, making it a valuable asset during the early stages of the game.
The Cutpurse Armor, obtained through Twitch drops, is perfect for stealth missions. With defense stats of 24 stab resistance, 53 slash resistance, and 54 blunt resistance, it's an excellent choice for players focusing on avoiding combat. However, acquiring this armor might be challenging without participating in future events.
In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the most effective approach to armor is not to rely on full sets but to mix and match pieces that complement your desired build. While full sets might look good in cutscenes, they don't offer combat advantages. Instead, focus on individual pieces that provide the stats you need, whether for protection or stealth. Additionally, consider pairing your armor with the best weapons in the game to enhance your combat effectiveness. If you're skilled in combat, a good sword, shield, and a basic set of armor might be all you need to navigate the game's quests successfully.
