The latest *Call of Duty* Zombies map in *Black Ops 6* introduces a thrilling addition: the return of the Staff of Ice, previously seen in *Black Ops II*'s Origins map. Here’s your guide on how to obtain the Staff of Ice in The Tomb.
In *Black Ops II*, the Staff of Ice required players to assemble it from three distinct parts. This remains true in *Black Ops 6*, but there's an exciting twist for The Tomb map: you can also obtain the Staff of Ice directly from the Mystery Box. However, this is dependent on RNG luck. While the "Wunderbar!" GobbleGum can improve your chances, it's not a guarantee due to the presence of other high-value items like the Ray Gun in the box. For a surefire way to get the Staff of Ice, follow the steps below to build it yourself.

To begin crafting the Staff of Ice, you'll first need to secure the Monocle. This essential piece is dropped by the first Shock Mimic you kill in a match on The Tomb. Once the Shock Mimic is defeated, approach the Monocle and press the interact button to add it to your inventory.
The next two parts of the Staff of Ice involve similar challenges. You'll need to navigate to the Neolithic Catacombs section of the map to find the Head Piece. Here, you'll encounter a cave painting on a wall that you need to interact with. If the wall isn't lit, you'll need to activate the Dark Aether lanterns around the area. Shoot the lantern with purple fire, and wait for it to respawn in a new location. When the lantern nearest to the painted wall is lit, the symbols on the wall will become visible.
If the lanterns haven't spawned yet, visit the Dark Aether Nexus and return. If they're still not present, you might need to advance a few rounds.
The symbols on the wall represent Roman Numerals. You must shoot them in ascending order from I to X. Be precise with your shots, using a bullet weapon to avoid accidental hits with splash or explosive damage. Completing this correctly will light up a constellation on the wall, triggering a lockdown. Survive the onslaught of enemies during this lockdown, and you'll find the Staff of Ice Head Piece waiting for you at the mural.
The final component, the Staff itself, is found in the Tombs room. Follow the same process as with the Head Piece: shoot the lanterns until the purple fire is near the Bull Mural, with the bull's head facing left and charging at Romans. The wall will then display Roman Numerals. Shoot them in order from I to VIII. Successfully completing this will trigger another lockdown. Survive the attack, and you'll be able to collect the Staff Piece from the mural.
With all three parts in hand, head to the Dark Aether Nexus through the Door to Nowhere. Approach the large central structure and interact to place the Monocle, Head Piece, and Staff Piece. This action will initiate a fierce battle as zombies, special, and potentially elite enemies attempt to disrupt the assembly process. Defend the Staff of Ice until it's fully assembled, utilizing perks, upgraded weapons, and strategic GobbleGums like Kill Joy and Free Fire to maximize your effectiveness.
Once successfully defended, the Staff of Ice will be yours to wield.
And that's how to get the Staff of Ice on The Tomb in *Black Ops 6* Zombies.
