PainterSVG

A free drawing application specifically for creating and editing Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) files.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is the official W3C standard for vector-based graphics. Unlike bitmap images made of fixed pixels, vector graphics are defined by mathematical shapes and their properties. This key difference means SVG images can be scaled to any size without any loss of quality or detail.

PainterSVG is a dedicated editor for SVG images, offering the following core features:

- Create and modify basic shapes, including lines, circles, rectangles, and more.

- Create and edit complex paths, supporting straight lines, cubic Bezier curves, and quadratic Bezier curves, with intuitive dragging of anchor and control points.

- Simple controls for defining stroke and fill properties for all shapes and paths.

- Apply solid color fills, linear gradient fills, or radial gradient fills to any object.

- Easily select or deselect elements, then drag to move, resize, or rotate them.

- Intuitive zoom in and out functionality.

- Conveniently group multiple elements together or ungroup them.

- Full support for reading from and writing to external SVG files.

- Export your work to PNG files (with transparent background) or JPG files (with a white background).
