Recording a video and ensuring its authenticity through blockchain technology is now easier than ever with Clapperboard. This innovative service allows you to use any camera—be it a CCTV, web camera, action camera, or even a built-in drone camera—to capture your footage. Clapperboard ensures the authenticity and authorship of your video, providing a secure way to verify its integrity.

To begin, you'll need to create an account on Clapperboard and add funds to your balance. Here’s how you can record an authentic video:

• Comment on the video you wish to authenticate.
• Request a unique QR-code from Clapperboard.
• During the video recording, display the QR-code on camera.

Once you've completed these steps, the QR-code and your comment will be permanently recorded on the NEM blockchain. You can then retrieve the video from your camera, confident in its authenticity.

To confirm that the video has not been tampered with and was indeed created after the QR-code was generated, you need to upload the video segment containing the QR-code to the Prover.io service. Upon successful verification, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity, detailing the video's integrity.
