Game Introduction

A popular card game played by three players using a 24-card deck.

Current Game Rules:

Players need 880 points to activate the "barrel" bonus
Points reset after 3 failed attempts at a barrel play
A "bolt" penalty is given when a player scores zero points in a round
Collecting 3 bolts results in a 120-point deduction
Surrendering players face penalty equal to the bid, split between opponents

Available Game Settings:

Winning threshold set above 1000 points
Point reset trigger at ±555 points
Option for automatic barrel play when holding dealing rights
Card redeal when hand/talon value falls below threshold
Ace marriage scoring variant
Golden round special play
Team barrel play scenarios

Barrel Play Mechanics:

Players with 880+ points and dealing rights can force a barrel round, automatically winning the bid regardless of opponents' hands. Failed attempts incur 120-point penalties. Three failures trigger point reset. Barrel eligibility is turn-dependent when multiple players qualify simultaneously.
