Permissions Required

To provide you with a seamless experience, the Honor Health App requests several permissions:

• Location: Essential for tracking your movement and supporting wearable devices with weather updates. Your location data is collected to ensure the accuracy of your exercise trails, even when the app is running in the background.
• Phone Permissions: Allows you to answer or make calls directly from your wearable device.
• SMS Permission: Enables sending and receiving SMS messages from your wearable.
• Call Log Permissions: Permits your wearable to view your call logs.
• Installed App Permissions: Allows the app to send notifications after enabling notification permissions.
• Camera Permissions: Used for scanning codes to connect devices, adding friends and family, activating eSIM, and accessing photo albums.
• Storage Permissions: Similar to camera permissions, used for connecting devices, adding contacts, and accessing media.
• Contacts Permissions: Helps in selecting contacts for setting up common contacts on your wearable.
• Nearby Device Permissions: Facilitates connecting to wearable or fitness devices post-Android TER M7.
• Fitness Exercise Permissions: Ensures your movement data is recorded even when using your wearable device.
• Calendar Permission: Useful for scheduling and displaying your fitness programs.
• Notification Permissions: Sends notifications related to devices, sports, and system updates.
• Microphone: Allows recording and sharing videos of your motion trajectories.

Before granting these permissions, the app will ask for your consent to access your phone's address book, call history, receive and view SMS, send SMS, listen to calls, and check power status. This helps you stay connected without constantly checking your phone.
