Back in January, Bluepoch Games thrilled fans with the announcement of an exciting collaboration between Reverse: 1999 and Assassin’s Creed. Now, more details have surfaced about this highly anticipated crossover, which will feature the iconic Ezio as a playable character.
In partnership with Ubisoft, this crossover event will immerse players in two beloved chapters of the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. The teaser released in January set the stage, showing Vertin navigating a rainy street with the luminous Assassin’s Creed logo beckoning in the distance.
The full scope of the event has been unveiled, set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collaboration promises a wealth of new content and experiences.
The crossover is thoughtfully divided into two engaging phases, each offering unique Assassin’s Creed-themed stories and events. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the historic streets of 15th-century Italy, deciphering cryptic clues.
Phase II then shifts the scene to ancient Greece, specifically the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will likely spot familiar events as Vertin and her crew dive into this ancient setting.
Take a peek at the crossover trailer below!
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time all global servers are synchronized, ensuring that everyone can access the event content simultaneously.
Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players take on the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon known as The Storm. Following the storms, entire eras vanish, compelling Vertin and her partner Sonetto to journey through different time periods to rescue other arcanists sensitive to these temporal shifts.
