Once in the customization menu, switch to build mode and navigate to the wolf icon on the far right. This section lists all the animal types you've unlocked, categorized into dogs, cats, and "other."

Choose the animal you wish to add to your Hideout. You'll then be taken to an overhead view where you can select an open grid on the map to place your new companion. Remember, animals will roam freely once you return to game mode, so they might not always be in the same spot when you're looking for a cuddle.

You can add multiple instances of the same animal, except for the special pup from "Thrown to the Dogs." However, there's a limit to the total number of animals you can have in the Hideout. If you want to change things up, you can always remove or replace animals at any time through build mode.
