Bam Margera to Feature in THPS 3+4 Following Tony Hawk's Insistence

by Emery Apr 15,2025

Bam Margera will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, despite initial reports suggesting otherwise. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream on The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk reached out to Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Despite being told it was impossible, Hawk's determination prevailed, ensuring Margera's spot in the game. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera, known for his professional skateboarding career and his role in the Jackass franchise, has faced well-documented struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab visits. He was also dismissed from the Jackass Forever project and was subject to a restraining order filed by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats.

Recent footage of Hawk and Margera skateboarding together had sparked speculation about Margera's return to the game, which has now been confirmed.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is set to launch on July 11, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy and has made a remarkable comeback after nearly being canceled following Activision's merger of the previous developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
