Players take on the role of Coen, a Dawnwalker—a being existing in the liminal space between human and vampire. Unlike typical video game heroes, Coen is portrayed as emotionally complex and vulnerable, a stark contrast to the grim world he inhabits. The narrative focuses on Coen's desperate 30-day race against time to save his family from the clutches of Brencis, an ancient vampire who now rules Vale Sangora.
