Season 2 of *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* has officially launched, introducing a game-changing feature that simplifies the grind for camo enthusiasts. The new Camo Challenge Tracking system is designed to streamline your journey to unlocking those coveted skins, and here's how it works.
The patch notes for *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* Season 2 highlight the Camo Challenge Tracking feature, stating: "The Challenge Tracker makes it easy for players to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges they're actively working toward, but there's another element of this system that we think players will find useful on the journey to Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter: Near Completion."
This innovative feature allows you to manually select up to 10 camos to monitor, providing easy access to your progress during gameplay, eliminating the need to navigate through menus constantly. Additionally, the tracker sends notifications for challenges nearing completion, even if they're not among the ones you've chosen to track.

To start tracking a specific challenge, navigate to the desired Camo or Calling Card challenge. Press the Y button on an Xbox controller or Triangle on a PlayStation controller to add it to your tracker. This allows you to monitor your progress in real-time during matches, rather than waiting to check it post-game.
Even without selecting specific challenges, the game auto-populates the tracker with challenges you're close to completing, ensuring you're always in the loop about what's within reach. You can view these near-complete challenges in the *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* lobby under the Daily Challenge section.
The Season 2 update also makes unlocking special camos more accessible. Previously, you needed to unlock nine military camos before accessing a special camo. Now, that requirement has been reduced to five military camos, although you still need to unlock two special camos to achieve the mastery camos.
The community has long discussed the challenge of tracking progress and earning headshots and kills for the numerous camos available. Treyarch has clearly listened to player feedback, implementing these new features to enhance the experience of earning and equipping camos in *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6*.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
