Embarking on your journey through the enchanting Ligneus Region in *Atelier Yumia* with Yumia and her companions, you'll soon discover the charm of setting up camp. This feature not only offers a cozy retreat but also deepens your connection with your fellow adventurers. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to camp in *Atelier Yumia*.
The ability to craft Camping Sets becomes available through Simple Synthesis after you clear the manabound Dux Lighthouse. This is the first manabound area you'll tackle in the story. Once you've established a base on the newly revealed land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and have a conversation with Erhard to unlock the camping feature.
To craft a Camping Set, you'll need the following materials:
These materials are easily accessible around the Ligneus Survey Base. Water can be sourced from wells scattered across the region or by harvesting plants along river shores, which also yield fiber. Charcoal is obtained by striking ore deposits.
Once you've gathered these materials, navigate to the Simple Synthesis menu. Ensure you have a 4×4 space available in your inventory before crafting the Camping Set. If space is an issue, the set will be automatically sent to your stash at the Atelier or one of your bases.
With your Camping Set ready, you're free to camp in any open area of land. However, you won't be able to set up camp in tight spots like narrow cliffs or dense forests; you'll need to find a more spacious location. There are designated campsites throughout the region, such as the River Campsite near the Ligneus Survey Base, where you can establish a temporary base.
If you have a Camping Set in your Exploration Bag, you can access the radial menu to check if the Camping option in the bottom right corner is available. If it's greyed out, that spot isn't suitable for camping.
Camping is your exclusive opportunity to cook the food you've gathered during your explorations. It's crucial to find a camping spot before tackling a boss or venturing into a manabound area, especially on higher difficulty levels, to ensure you're well-rested and nourished.
Moreover, camping allows you to engage in unique dialogues with your companions. While these conversations might not influence the main storyline, they provide valuable insights into their personalities and backgrounds, enriching your overall experience.
And that's everything you need to know about camping in *Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land*. Enjoy your adventure and the moments of tranquility amidst your journey.
*Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land* is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
