Clash of Clans to Remove Troop Training Times in Major Update

Clash of Clans, an iconic fixture in mobile gaming, is set to undergo a significant transformation by completely eliminating troop training times. This monumental change will allow players to deploy their armies almost instantly, enabling quicker and more dynamic battles than ever before. However, with this shift, players should be mindful of their existing Training Potions and Treats. It's crucial to use them before the update, as they will be phased out and converted to Gems at the end of the month.

While Clash of Clans may show signs of its age, Supercell has been proactive in modernizing the game over the years. The removal of troop, spell, and siege unit training times marks perhaps the most significant update yet. Following the elimination of training costs in 2022, this new change promises to revolutionize gameplay further. As of today, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available through in-app purchases or chest rewards, though they can still be obtained via the Trader and Gold Pass temporarily.

To facilitate this change, Supercell is introducing a new feature called Match Anytime. This allows players to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no live opponents are available, ensuring continuous engagement and reward earning. Importantly, players whose bases are used in these matches won't suffer any losses if defeated. This mechanic, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now become a standard feature.
