AppSir's retro-styled platformer, Climb Knight, is getting a significant free update on February 25th! This isn't just any update; it's a major expansion adding three brand-new one-bit minigames and a mysterious advisor character reminiscent of Apple Newton shareware.
Mobile developer AppSir consistently delivers unique and engaging indie titles, and Climb Knight is no different. While we previously reviewed the game favorably, AppSir's enthusiastic response to the positive reception has led to this substantial content addition.
The new advisor character, however, hints at a deeper, perhaps unsettling, narrative element, given AppSir's history of incorporating spooky themes into their games. This update promises more than meets the eye. AppSir's dedication to creating distinctive mobile experiences, reminiscent of the Faith trilogy's retro aesthetic, is commendable.
For those unfamiliar with AppSir's work, their previous title, Spooky Pixel Hero, is another highly recommended game.
