Get the Costume Minccino in Pokémon GO!

The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, featuring returning costumed Pokémon and the debut of costumed Minccino and Cinccino! This stylish duo sports rhinestone glasses and adorable bows.

When to Catch Costumed Minccino:

The Fashion Week event, including costumed Minccino and Cinccino, ran from January 10th to 19th, 2025. Costumed Minccino had a shiny variant available during this period, while Cinccino did not. Other costumed Pokémon returning for the event included Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, and Shinx. Furfrou, in its various forms, also made appearances in the wild and Raids.

How to Obtain Costumed Minccino:

Unlike previous events, obtaining costumed Minccino was primarily limited to two methods:

One-Star Raids:

Costumed Minccino appeared in One-Star Raids, generally soloable. However, One-Star Raids also featured costumed Shinx and Furfrou, requiring some searching to find a Minccino Raid.

Paid Timed Research:

A paid Timed Research ticket ($5 USD or equivalent) offered guaranteed encounters with costumed Minccino, alongside XP, Stardust, and a new avatar pose.

Field Research Tasks:

While Field Research Tasks promised encounters with event Pokémon, Niantic's blog didn't specify if costumed Minccino was included, suggesting it was less likely than the paid option.

Getting Costumed Cinccino:

To obtain Cinccino in its costumed form, players needed to evolve their costumed Minccino using 50 Minccino Candies and a Unova Stone.
