Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 Restores Compendium

Crashlands 2 enthusiasts, rejoice! Butterscotch Shenanigans has just released a major update, version 1.1, packed with features that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly anticipating. This update introduces a range of new challenges and enhancements that promise to enrich your gaming experience.

What's in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?

The highlight of the update is the introduction of Legend Mode, a new difficulty setting that surpasses the existing Challenge Mode. In Legend Mode, the enemies on Woanope are not only quicker and more aggressive but also boast significantly increased HP. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become even more vulnerable. Completing Legend Mode won't unlock new achievements, but it will automatically grant you all the achievements from lower difficulty levels as a reward.

For those who prefer a more relaxed gameplay experience, the update also introduces Explorer Mode. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on farming mushrooms, building cozy homes, and fishing without the constant threat of danger. It's the perfect way to immerse yourself in the game's story, decorate your base, and enjoy the unique characters of Crashlands 2.

A much-requested feature, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return. The developers listened to player feedback post-launch, and now The Compendium meticulously tracks Flux's discoveries, including the number of pets, recipes, and items left to find, helping you reach your goals.

Pets Also Got a Bit of an Upgrade

With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 have become more involved in combat, each equipped with a special ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. This adds a new layer of strategy to battles.

Gear crafting has seen a boost in variety as well. When crafting armor, you'll now encounter random bonus stats, and the update brings a plethora of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to discover.

Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout the update. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the night's darkness to their preference.

Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store, having launched on April 10th. This update demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening and responding to player feedback, ensuring a continually evolving and engaging gaming experience.
