CrazyGames is set to launch its exciting Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 from April 25th to May 5th, inviting indie developers worldwide to participate in a 10-day game development marathon. Partnering with Photon, the premier multiplayer service provider, this event focuses on crafting innovative web-based multiplayer games. Participants have the chance to win a share of €10,000 in cash prizes and premium Photon licenses, which include:

  • 500 CCU with Circle Starter for a year (€7,500 value)
  • 500 CCU for a year (€1,500 value)
  • 100 CCU for a year (€100 value)

The event's rules are straightforward: games must be developed and submitted within the jam period and comply with PEGI 12 rating standards. Beyond these guidelines, developers are encouraged to unleash their creativity and innovation.

Since its inception in 2014, CrazyGames has become the go-to platform for free online gaming, leveraging HTML5, JavaScript, and WebGI technologies to deliver seamless browser-based gaming experiences across thousands of titles. In collaboration with Photon, CrazyGames will support participants throughout the event and offer winners the chance to have their games published on their platform.

A pre-jam livestream is scheduled for April 24th at 4 pm CEST on YouTube and LinkedIn, where attendees can learn about two new WebGL platforms, Fusion and Quantum. Mark Val, Head of Growth at Photon Engine, emphasized the significance of these platforms, stating, "Photon has supported multiplayer WebGL for over a decade, and our new Fusion and Quantum samples let you create high-performant multiplayer games easily. We believe a WebGL game will be in the top 20 of the world’s most visited websites in the coming year, and the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is a good opportunity for everyone to innovate on the platform."

Registration for the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is free and open to developers of all skill levels. For more details and to sign up, visit the official jam page.
