Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game, developed by Sad Cat Studios, has faced multiple postponements, landing now in a 2026 release window.
Previously, a 2025 release was announced by Sad Cat, who described the game's development as a "unique challenge." This latest delay, however, pushes the title even further into the future. Despite the setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a high-quality product, driven by the considerable anticipation surrounding Replaced.
First unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's E3 presentation, Replaced has generated significant buzz. While Sad Cat has yet to officially address this latest delay, they have maintained a degree of communication with fans, offering glimpses of gameplay, including combat footage and a mini-game showcase earlier this year.
