Valve keeps the excitement alive with frequent updates for Deadlock, and the latest patch, though modest, brings significant changes to four heroes. Calico faced a substantial nerf: her Return to Shadows ability saw a cooldown increase of ten seconds, and 20% of its speed was shifted to T2. Additionally, the damage output from T2 Leaping Slash was dialed back. Sinclair, on the other hand, received a fresh set of sounds and animations, with his Rabbit Hex now boasting an Area of Effect (AoE) capability. Both Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, adjusting their overall impact in the game.
The update didn't stop at heroes; items were also tweaked. Ammo Scavenger now offers fewer stacks and no longer provides a health bonus. Meanwhile, Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot have lost their bonuses to Fire Rate and Weapon Damage, respectively.

This marks the fifth update for Deadlock in 2025, and the first for February. Valve has shifted its strategy, moving away from a fixed patch schedule to releasing updates as needed. Today's patch is a testament to their new, responsive approach to game development.
