Dev Teases Fan-Requested UI Update for Schedule 1

by Aaliyah May 17,2025

The solo developer behind the rising indie game Schedule I has teased fans with a glimpse of an upcoming UI update. In a recent X (formerly Twitter) post dated April 9, developer Tyler unveiled enhancements to the counteroffer product selection interface, promising a more streamlined experience for players.

As Schedule I continues to gain traction, Tyler's commitment to refining the game is evident. The counteroffer system, a pivotal feature that allows players to negotiate prices with in-game clients for their products, has been a focal point of fan feedback. Players have expressed frustrations over the clunky UI, particularly when managing large inventories. Responding to these concerns, Tyler announced the introduction of a much-needed "search bar" function, set to enhance the counteroffer UI's usability in the forthcoming update.

While the exact release date for this update remains under wraps, fans can look forward to a host of other exciting features on the horizon. According to the game's roadmap on its official Trello page, Schedule I is gearing up to introduce emotes, rarer trash drops, duplicate save files, and new drugs, among other improvements.

At Game8, we've been thoroughly impressed with Schedule I, describing it as a surprisingly addictive and rewarding "Breaking Bad" simulator. For a deeper dive into our thoughts on the game's early access release, be sure to check out our detailed article below!
