BioWare has revealed exciting PC-specific details for the upcoming Dragon Age: The Veilguard, ensuring a superior experience for players on this platform.
BioWare emphasized their commitment to PC, the series' birthplace. They invested approximately 200,000 hours in performance and compatibility testing on PCs—40% of their total platform testing. An additional 10,000 hours were dedicated to user research, refining controls and UI across various setups.
The game boasts native PS5 DualSense controller support with haptic feedback, alongside Xbox controller and keyboard/mouse support. Players can seamlessly switch between input methods mid-game or in menus. Customizable class-specific keybinds further enhance control personalization. The Veilguard supports 21:9 ultrawide displays, a cinematic aspect ratio toggle, adjustable field of view (FOV), uncapped frame rates, full HDR, and ray tracing.
