Electronic Arts' soccer simulators have long been under scrutiny, and not just for their monetization practices. The technical aspects of their games have also been called into question. With the release of EA Sports FC 25, the criticism reached a boiling point, prompting the developers to take action. Furthermore, the game's anti-cheat system has made it incompatible with Steam Deck, further limiting its accessibility.
