Set to launch on April 2, Last Epoch's Season 2: Tombs of the Erased is bringing a wave of thrilling updates and changes. Eleventh Hour Games has released a comprehensive trailer that showcases the vast enhancements coming with this eagerly anticipated update.
This season introduces the mysterious "Weavers," a faction previously hinted at through in-game items. Players will have the opportunity to unlock their unique abilities using a specialized skill tree, allowing for timeline manipulation within monoliths at advanced stages of the game. A new feature, "Woven Echoes," further explores the lore and backstory of these fascinating characters.
Explorers will discover new areas such as forgotten tombs and haunted cemeteries, filled with formidable foes, elite champions with unique modifiers, and bountiful loot. These new challenges are designed for players seeking intense, high-stakes gameplay.
In response to player feedback, significant adjustments have been implemented. Now, switching mastery specializations no longer requires creating a new character, thanks to enhanced flexibility. The Sentinel class has also undergone a thorough overhaul, with refined abilities, optimized passive trees, increased agility, and strengthened defenses to support a variety of play styles.
Other notable enhancements include a revamped inventory interface, initial support for WASD controls, instant-access boss keys after completing dungeons, and refined endgame systems aimed at improving overall player convenience.
