**Updated on April 4, 2025**: E.R.P.O. currently features only 4 monsters, but each presents unique challenges and thrilling encounters. Unlike typical survival horror games like Pressure, *E.R.P.O.* empowers players to fight back against these fearsome creatures using various strategies and weapons. Below is a comprehensive guide on how to survive and defeat each monster in *E.R.P.O.*.
E.R.P.O. continuously introduces new monsters, making it essential to bookmark this page for the latest updates and strategies. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to tackle each monster, along with general combat tactics:
Melee Combat: Equip yourself with melee weapons like the Machete or Hammer, available in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These weapons will spawn in your next level, ready to be picked up with M1 and used to swing at monsters. Be cautious with ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Employ a hit-and-run strategy to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs for melee engagements.
Grenades and Mines: Purchase Grenades and Mines from the shop. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and then throw it or leave it to explode, dealing massive damage to weaker monsters and significantly harming tougher ones. Mines are placed on the ground and detonate when stepped on by a monster.
Monster Brawl: Strategically use the environment to your advantage. Lure a Huntsman to shoot at another monster by positioning yourself behind it and making noise through walking or voice chat. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations to cause mutual damage.
The Robe, a shadowy ghost-like entity, is dangerous upon contact. To evade it, crouch and hide or keep moving to kite it away. It's best to avoid melee combat due to its high damage output. Instead, use 2 Grenades or 2 Mines to take it down by luring it into the blast radius. Be aware that Robe teleports and accelerates towards you if you look at its mask.
The Reaper, a doll-like creature with spinning sword arms, is less damaging than the Robe but still a threat in melee. It can be kited or avoided, and unlike the Robe, it doesn't teleport. Melee weapons are effective against it, requiring just a few hits to defeat. Alternatively, a single grenade can stun and kill it.
These seemingly harmless ducks become aggressive when provoked, such as being grabbed or damaged. Once enraged, they relentlessly pursue you, dealing low but continuous damage. Outrunning them is your best strategy, though melee weapons or a grenade can quickly dispatch them due to their low health.
The Huntsman, a blind marksman, can one-shot you with his gun. He relies on sound to locate you, so avoid speaking near him or moving quickly. Crouch and hide under tables to stay safe. Melee combat is risky due to his auto-aim. Instead, place a mine near his path or throw a grenade while crouched to stun him for 6 seconds, allowing you to close in with melee weapons.
That concludes our comprehensive guide to all E.R.P.O. monsters. For additional in-game benefits, don't forget to check out our E.R.P.O. codes. Stay tuned for our upcoming class tier list to further enhance your gameplay experience.
