How To Get the Star-Lord Skin Free in Marvel Rivals’ Fortune & Colors Event

Much like the Winter Celebration, to participate in the Fortune & Colors event, you'll need to earn a special in-game currency named Danqing, symbolized by a paintbrush and a container of red paint. Your path to acquiring Danqing involves tackling event challenges within the new game mode, Clash of Dancing Lions, as well as in Quick Play and Competitive matches.

While the base challenges may shift, the event-specific quests remain constant. Here's a rundown of the Fortune & Colors quests available so far:

• Complete 3 Clash of Dancing Lions matches
• Intercept the ball 3 times in a single Clash of Dancing Lions match

Once you've amassed some Danqing, you can navigate to the event pass and begin unlocking rewards. To claim the Star-Lord Lion’s Mane skin for free, you'll need to collect 900 Danqing. This might seem daunting, but with the event running until February 14th, there's ample time to complete enough challenges to secure the skin.

How To Play With the Star-Lord Lion’s Mane Skin Without Unlocking It in Marvel Rivals

For those less keen on grinding but eager to experience the Star-Lord Lion’s Mane skin, there's an alternative route. The Clash of Dancing Lions mode, reminiscent of Rocket League but with a superhero flair, restricts players to three characters: Star-Lord, Black Widow, and Iron Fist. All three come equipped with Spring Festival skins, allowing you to test them out during the mode.

Should the mode's charm win you over and prompt you to add these skins to your collection, head to the in-game store. The Dancing Lions bundle includes the Iron Fist Lion’s Gaze and the Black Widow Lion’s Heartbeat skins for 2,800 Units, roughly translating to just over $20.
